This piece was done during the fall of 2023 in my studio in Oregon shortly after graduating from The Florence Academy of Art. This piece features the use of my homemade lead white pigment, which I made over the summer. This pigment is used throughout the painting and is as close as possible to the white used during the time of Rembrandt.
